American roots rock fresh from the harmonic oven and baked to perfection, The Wild Feathers.

A debut release from an exciting Nashville outfit by way of Texas that combines blues, folk and alternative country has The Wild Feathers turning critics heads. The harmonies are tight, the lyrics have substance and the melodies are wildly inventive, this is fresh. One might think a band with five former lead singers would be destined to crash and burn yet The Wild Feathers function with a unique cohesion of sound and talent rarely heard.
A true band, not one leader and three after thoughts. Analyzing the debut release from any act can be a daunting task. The blues rock "Backwoods Company bookends nicely against the more introspective and folk rock inspired "Tall Boots." The music transcends genre and this may well be the key to success. American roots music means different things to different people. This is a band that understands the past but would seem to be keeping a keen eye on the future.
