Pianist Ludovic Allainmat would seem to drive the lyrical train while saxophonist Geoffrey Secco provides the perfect counterpoint throughout this amazing set. Drummer Onoe plays with a heightened sense of finesse and swing not heard since the passing of the great Paul Motian. An amazing session that bodes well for perhaps the next great universal drummer to come our way. Nothing to grind on here, as close to perfect as one can get.
