Ten original tunes show Dave Davies has plenty of gas left in the tank with Rippin' Up Time!

Last time I saw Davie Davies and the Kinks they were on a double bill with the Romantics here at the Louisville Gardens. Davies is a Rock & Roll Hall of Famer and revolutionized the sound of modern rock and is back with a somewhat introspective autobiographical riff on himself. Rippin' Up Time is uniquely personal yet carries the same edgy quality that catapulted the Kinks to legend status. Happy, melancholy and sometimes sad the sound of the release is that of a man who has not only come to grips with middle age but survived it!
"Nosey Neighbors" and "Rippin' Up Time" are in your face classic tracks that fans should adore. "Semblance of Sanity" while slightly experimental, embraces the cutting edge lyrical landscape that Davies has successfully navigated over time. Dave's son Russ along with old friend David Nolte join the party for a release that proves you can go home again!
Tracks: Rippin' Up Time; Semblance of Sanity; King of Karaoke; Front Room; Johnny Adams; Nosey Neighbors; Mindwash; Between The Towers; In The Old Days; Through My Window.
