Hell Cat Stomp is a raucous rockabilly slice of Americana! Roots music at it's very best!

Rockabilly never really died and surprisingly enough much like the vinyl record is making a strong resurgence. Danny B. Harvey and Mysti Moon hooked up for one of the best looks at the early pioneers of jazz, blues and country. Predominately covers Hell Cat Stomp bangs out some classics such as "Black Betty" and "St James Infirmary." Band? Not necessary as Harvey handles guitar, bass and suitcase kick and vocals are from the sultry Mysti Moon formerly of Devil's Daughters. The tunes are simple but swing and the arrangements can touch your heart and set your hair on fire at the same time! So the sound? Comparisons are often fraught with peril but think Straycats on steroids and you will be in the ball park!
Tradition is a key element in the new rockabilly, a respect for those that paved the way. The arrangements push the release to the next level as each is virtually tailored to the artist they are covering. The originals from Danny B. Harvey are smoking including "Hell Cat Stomp" and "Hard Moon Boogie." No break downs here folks, aim the beat at their feet as Danny B. Harvey and Mysti Moon are indeed the real deal!
