Cactus An Evening In Tokyo Cleopatra 2014

Cactus An Evening In Tokyo is simply what happens when you catch lighting in a bottle!
Brent Black /
The legendary band Cactus has often been referred to as America's Led Zeppelin. This particular show was caught in late 2012 and shows that particular tag is more than deserved! This is full contact rock and roll! Cleopatra records is also releasing a magnificent 2 disc collection from Cactus entitled Live In The U.S.A! This show was a special reunion show from 2006. The single disc An Evening in Tokyo features the Detroit blues master and former Mitch Ryder band member Jim McCarty and vocalist Jimmy Kunes from the great band Savoy Brown. Bassist Pete Bremy and harp player Randy Pratt round out a band with a take no prisoners attitude and the chops to back it up.
A great quality recording and solid set has favorites including "Bro. Bill" along with "Evil" and "You Can't Judge A Book By The Cover." A smoking set by a band that has multiple weapons in their rock and roll arsenal. Sure to please fans old and new!
Tracks: Swim; One Way or Another; Bro. Bill; You Can't Judge A Book By The Cover; Alaska; Electric Blue; Muscle and Soul; Evil; Parchman Farm; Rock N' Roll Children.
