Bad Suns have no where to go but up!

The Bad Suns are a California based quartet that has hit the ground running with the first single "Cardiac Arrest." If I go alternative then I want something truly unique and unlike a half dozen of their contemporaries the base line sound of this band covers some massive harmonic ground. A retro 80's new wave sound, an ambient techno vibe, and reggae are just an example of how this band rolls. "Take My Love And Run" might or perhaps should be the next radio single, commercial yet they don't make a big thing about it.
I am always annoyed when a release is called a great summer record, good driving music, or something you can take to a spin class...There is little doubt that this talented 4tet has dropped a record that can be all things to all people. The retro sound of 80's synth pop reinvented for the new millennium is attempting to make a valiant comeback, Bad Suns may be the poster band for how to do it correctly! There is very little to find fault with and if like your pop music just slightly left of center then Language and Perspective is highly recommended!
