The Audio Fidelity series scores big points with Legends Crank It Up!

Compilation discs are hit and miss at best...This "review" is probably more about Audio Fidelity than the release itself. Face it, you know the music and with an eclectic mix that runs from Chicago to Little Feat there is little margin for error in terms of quality classic rock. Toss in The Doobie Brothers and The Grateful Dead and you are tripping over number one records, Grammy Awards and a journey through the history of popular music in North America.
The Audio Fidelity series Legends is legit. The finest quality masters from some of the greatest acts in the world. Phil Collins, The Moody Blues and Foreigner round out a collection that should appeal to a wide audience. The misconception that you need an SACD player is just that, the quality works across the board no matter what equipment you are running.
Tracks; Does Anybody Really Know What Time It Is?, Listen To The Music, Good Lovin', Tonight's The Night, Running On Empty, In The Air Tonight, Time Of The Season, How Long, Dixie Chicken, Truckin', Love The One You're With, For What It's Worth, Sister Golden Hair, Back On The Chain Gang, Feels Like The First Time, Daniel, Nights In White Satin.
