Marcelo Paganni is on par with any rock guitarist on the planet...

Marcelo Paganni can grip it and rip it with the best of them. 2012 Space Traffic Jam is ambient prog rock that has been kicked up a notch. French / Brazilian six string wizard Marcelo Paganni started a quest back in 1979 which after 35 years has finally been completed with his new release. This indie artist has no need to worry about credibility with guests that include Deodato and Gary Husband. Former Yes members Tony Kaye and Billy Sherwood drop by and 2012 Space Traffic Jam is suddenly elevated to the next level of harmonic expression.
The range of musical influence runs from King Crimson to Milton Nascimento. The lyrics are far more accessible that the stereotypical prog rock effort and ironically satirical at times. Paganni is simply stunning on guitar, a technical wizard that can touch your heart and set your hair on fire simultaneously. While prog rock is slowly regaining acceptance, 2012 Space Traffic Jam is that unique release that sounds like a classic from thirty years ago but can still easily pass for a fresh release today. This is the new sound for prog rock enthusiasts!
