My Liver Disease Fight...A 48 hour update

Since being diagnose with liver disease (advanced) I have been hospitalized twice, almost died twice, undergone 8 surgical procedures and woke up in the middle of medically necessary colonoscopy...Now I know what a bad review feels like!

With Obama Care putting health care in America on the ropes of complete failure, I began attempting a fund raising campaign to help with the tremendous financial burden of the medical and pharmacy bills that are following my every move. I am still waiting on disability and may not hear for another 6 months. I am on Medicaid but this is NOT a free ride.

Some kind souls attempted a fundraising benefit for me in Los Angeles and it failed miserably. Why? When you choose a program of songs from one particular artist then be sure their remaining relatives are not desperate enough to try and put their shovel in for some sort of arbitrary financial gain. I was also let down my numerous artists whose work was first reviewed and favorably by yours truly. I know my outspoken political beliefs played a roll and find it ironic that should a liberal express their value system then they are on the path of some noble truth while if you have a more conservative value system then you are attacked, ridiculed and outright shunned by the very people that you have devoted time to promote...

A failed trumpet player from Tennessee called my fundraising campaign an effort to "whore myself out" yet he later apologized stating he had no idea I was sick...I forgave him and took him at his word. You don't argue with stupidity and I have more important things to worry about. I believe in karma. Just recently he appears to have lost yet ANOTHER job so score another win for cosmic karma.

There are not many in any critics that I know of that promote kick starter campaigns for artists or place their reviews on Amazon simply in an effort to help. Amazon has confirmed that with each review I place there are at least two people that credit my review as instrumental in their purchase decision. I am a documented revenue stream for some. I have donated services to artists that were honest enough to tell me they had no money...none. I did it because I wanted to and I believe in the power of paying it forward. I will continue to pay your kindness forward. The campaign has only raised about half of the originally intended goal, maybe a little less. Has it been a failure? No. You only fail when you stop trying.

I am now in the last 48 hours of this campaign. You may think you are not able to donate enough to make a difference. If just ten people donated 20 dollars, that is enough for almost two months of RX drug coverage for 3 prescriptions. It does make a difference, pennies make dollars. You don't have to be an artist to help. If you think contributing to a critic is a conflict of interest then you obviously don't get the fact that I don't answer to anyone and no one owns me with a mere donation. I currently have a 90 day ad special running. Buy 3 months and get 3 free...IF I have reviewed your record. That is not a conflict of interest but that is a perk...

I desperately need your help. I am not an ideology. I am a person...You can use the paypal link or you can use the funding widget here on the home page. If you have a problem you can email me at . The kindness shown takes a great deal of stress off my plate and provides for not only the medical needs to continue in an effort to become a suitable transplant recipient but for the mental and personal needs associated with such a devastating illness.
