Fifteen Shades Of Blue Jazz Justin-Time 2013

Justin-Time records takes all the guess work out of finding the right mood music with a stellar collection just in time for Christmas!
If you would like to take a little break from Christmas music this season while still setting that appropriate mood for you significant other then Fifteen Shades of Blue Jazz is just what the doctor ordered. Back in the day the r & b group The Whispers used to issue their albums as one side for dancin' and one side for romancin'. Think of this as the jazz counterpart.
While most collections can turn into a hodge podge of artists with no clear direction or flow, Fifteen Shades Of Blue keeps a smoldering groove with some jazz greats and some outstanding overlooked Canadian talent as well! Artists such as Diana Krall, Oscar Peterson, and Hank Jones set the old school vibe in motion while Taurey Butler, Ranee Lee and Carol Welsman and their own new cool flavor to a solid collection.
"When A Man Loves A Woman" from Ranee Lee and "Taurey Butler's "The Lady Is A Tramp" are reharmed to perfection while Oscar Peterson brings it on home with "Alone Together."
Some releases write their own reviews and this is one!
